hey guys for complex news, i'm natasha martinez. in his first major sit down interview sincehe became president elect, donald trump will appear on 60 minutes tomorrow night with lesleystahl discussing some of his plans now that he has achieved the highest office in thecountry. trump made many claims during his campaign,one of which was to get rid of and replace obamacare immediately. now 60 minutes is teasing that he has changedhis mind after having a long conversation with president obama about it. trump is keeping two significant provisionsof the affordable care act.
one being to keep the rules preventing companiesfrom denying coverage to those with pre-existing conditions, calling it one of its strongestassets, and the other allowing young adults to stay on their parents’ insurance planuntil the age of 26. he says it will add cost but that it is somethingthat they are going to try and keep, while adding that all the changes will happen simultaneously. in the interview, lesley stahl sits down withtrump and his family, but then sits solo with him to discuss what it was like getting thecall that essentially ended the election from hillary clinton. trumps full interview will air on 60 minutessunday november 13th.
